Coolizi started as a kitchen-table sketch in Wan Chai and became a Hong Kong-headquartered climate company shipping to 38 countries. We are designers, mechanical engineers, software people, and former HVAC technicians — and we share a quiet obsession with how air moves through a room.
Coolizi Climate Technologies Limited was founded in 2019 by a small group of mechanical and electrical engineers who were tired of two things: window-unit air conditioners that destroyed the window they were mounted in, and portable units that moved hot air around the room instead of moving it out. The original prototype — hand-soldered on a workbench above a noodle shop in Mong Kok — became the first Coolizi unit to leave the workshop.
Six years later, Coolizi ships from a 4 200 m² assembly and quality-control facility in the New Territories, with a research office in Shenzhen and a customer-experience team distributed across Hong Kong, Lisbon, and Vancouver. The company is independently held, profitable since 2022, and growing at a measured pace. We hire slowly and we test every unit for fourteen continuous hours before it ships.

The first Coolizi unit is hand-assembled in a 30 m² studio above a noodle shop in Mong Kok. Five units are built. All five are sold to friends.

Every Coolizi unit ships with a 30-day return window, a three-year warranty, and access to a 24-hour customer-experience team. Service is not a separate department; it is part of the product.
We publish our test data, our bill-of-materials, and our firmware changelog. A climate appliance should be a transparent appliance. If a unit fails, we will tell you why and we will fix it.
Coolizi is a team of 47 people across three offices. The leadership group has shipped climate, audio, and consumer-electronics products at companies you have heard of. They came to Coolizi to build something they could sign their name to.
